Free download sonic heroes full version pc game

Fast heroes can travel long distances and create whirlwinds, flying heroes help the team climb to the upper levels, and strong men fight in open combat and destroy walls. Each of the characters has their own unique abilities, such as invisibility, teleportation, or climbing walls. All levels are divided into three acts, where at the end of each a boss fight awaits.

Sonic Heroes is represented by 7 different zones: seaside, futuristic city, canyon, rainforest, haunted castle and Dr. Eggman's air battleships.

When fighting robots, you need to collect rings at locations. Every 10 rings I grant one life. If one of the protagonists is killed, the game starts with a checkpoint. I could go on and on about how Sonic just doesn't work well in 3D, but it wouldn't change anything. He's here to stay. Thankfully, most of what made the Adventure games a bore--in particular, everything that didn't star Sonic or Tails--is gone, and as a result, Heroes plays more like the balls-to-the-wall Sega Genesis Sonics.

It's even got a classic-style casino stage, something that the previous 3D efforts didn't even dare to try. But for each brave step forward, it takes a few back. Racing full speed through stages that take 10 or more minutes to complete while constantly switching characters for the most mundane of tasks becomes exhausting.

It's even worse when you consider that you have to play through the same stages four times once with each team to get the real ending. I don't have the patience for it, especially when the terrible camera and hit-or-miss lock-on attacks that leave you plunging to your doom and spelled trouble in the last two Sonics still haven't been adequately addressed. Once at the forefront of platforming action, the Sonic series hasn't aged well.

And while Heroes is better in some respects than the last two, it still leaves me disappointed. For a character as recognizable and symbolic as Sonic the Hedgehog, you'd think Sega would spend a little more time polishing each of his adventures before shipping them to stores. Sadly, this is not the case.

As with the previous two 3D Sonic outings, Sonic Heroes is a solid platformer that could've been a lot better if the developers had spent more time balancing the levels and tweaking the unbelievably frustrating camera.

The team-based gameplay is interesting enough, but instead of having four separate teams, three of which play virtually identically, Sega should've just stuck with Team Sonic and focused on making it a more cohesive, enjoyable experience. The one team that does play differently--the exploration-based Team Chaotix--isn't even fun, as Heroes' stages were clearly designed for speed, not adventuring.

That said, it is nice to have a Sonic game with a bit of real depth to it. The venerable Sonic franchise is back, this time with a team approach to a 3D adventure world. This certainly isn't the first time that Sega has tried to convert the excellent 2D speed scroller into a 3D game, but it is the first time they've done it right.

Instead of muddying the waters with the bevy of Sonic-related characters that seem to multiply like bunnies in each game ' Sega divided up the characters into teams of three. While the preceding Sonic Adventure games for the Dreamcast featured elements of action-adventure and exploration, Sonic Heroes focuses on linear platforming and action, similar to the Sonic the Hedgehog games for the Sega Genesis.

The story is also simpler than those of the Sonic Adventure games. In it, series antagonist Doctor Eggman threatens to use a weapon to destroy the world and sends out legions of robots. Four groups of three characters from the franchise's history separately team up to put a stop to Eggman's plans. The player navigates using one of the teams, who serve as the player characters.

Each team has its own campaign, called a story. Each also represents a different difficulty. Amy's team, for example, is designed for beginners, while Shadow's is aimed at more experienced players.

The game begins with a tutorial followed by fourteen normal levels and seven boss fights. Gameplay is generally similar in each story: the player must race through levels to advance the story and collect rings for protection and lives.

Level themes vary from beaches to casinos. When the player reaches the end of a level, they are graded based on their performance; an "A" rank is highest, while an "E" is lowest. Enemy robots are scattered around levels and must be defeated by jumping on them or other means of attack. The level designs differ slightly between each story. Espio, Charmy, and Vector's levels are distinguished from the other teams' because they are mission-based, requiring players to fulfill a specific objective, like collecting items, to clear a level.

Teams contain three character types: Speed such as Sonic , Flight such as Tails , and Power such as Knuckles , which the player toggles between.

Speed characters can perform attacks that allow them to lock onto enemies and objects, dash across lines of rings, and can form whirlwinds to climb up poles. Flight characters can temporarily fly and attack airborne enemies, while Power characters can break through objects and glide on gusts of air.

By acquiring certain items or enemies, characters can level up, becoming more efficient when fighting enemies. Ok so, I believe this game has copyright protection since it's a windows game.
